FAQs for RM2200D
The RM220-020D Fader Module displays only the first 4 characters of a channel name on its hardware panel — longer names are not supported and are not planned. Channel names of up to 16 characters can still be configured in the PC software, where they are shown in full. If longer labels on the hardware side are essential, an additional PC monitor is the recommended workaround.

Note that these Log Level options are greyed out and unavailable for RM4200D devices (Toolbox4 firmware), while full Log Level support is provided for 52/RM4200D (Toolbox5), 52/MX, and 52/XR systems.

When rack-mounting, leave at least 1U (44mm) of free space above and below the DSP frame for ventilation, and keep the perforated top and bottom panels unobstructed — more clearance may be needed when heat-emitting devices are nearby or the frame is heavily populated.

Read full answerThe RM220-122 module provides two analog control inputs (ACIs) that are exclusively designed to connect potentiometers for controlling the headphone output level on the same module. Using the ACIs to control any other function is not supported.
Read full answerWhile colored fader knobs can generally be swapped on RM4200D fader modules, this is not possible for modules with motorized faders. Motorized faders require conductive knobs to detect touch, and these are currently only available in silver.
