Electrical Specifications

[Warning]Warning

Do not connect any voltaged lines (for example Telephone, ISDN) to any output of the modules RM420-122, RM420-222 and RM420-223. External voltage will cause damages on internal circuits.

GPO (general purpose output)

  • All GPOs use fully galvanic isolated PhotoMOS relays, suitable for AC or DC voltage.

  • Maximum peak switched voltage: 30V AC or DC (resettable fuse).

  • Maximum rated current: 0,2A (resettable fuse).

  • Relay type: Matsushita AQV212S. For more information please visit :www.matsushita.co.uk

GPI (general purpose input) on modules RM420-111, RM420-123 and RM420-222

  • All GPIs are fully galvanic isolated using an optocoupler (TLP281) with current limiter (LM317L with 300 ohms).

  • ON voltage: greater + 4 V, up to +30 V.

  • OFF voltage: 0 V ... + 1,5 V.

  • ON current: 4 mA.

GPI (general purpose input) on module RM420-122

  • TTL-Inputs with internal pull up resistor (10k ohms to 5 V).

  • These TTL-inputs are not galvanic isolated!

  • Please connect switch between GPI and GPI GND!

ACI (analog control input) on module RM420-122

  • Analog control input to connect external potentiometers for level control.

  • These analog inputs are not galvanic isolated!

  • Please connect 10kOhm linear potentiometer between ACI (wipe contact) and ACI GND (left detent). Leave open right detent of potentiometer!

Galvanic Isolation

  • All AES3/EBU inputs and outputs as well as all Ethernet connectors are galvanic isolated with pulse transformers.

  • All other signals are not galvanic isolated from ground potential!

Shielding

[Important]Important

We strongly recommend to use proper shielding for all analog and digital signal lines! Connect cable shields only to the connector housing and not to any other pin!
