The DSP frame must be mounted always horizontally, with the base plate underneath and the lid plate on top. Both plates are perforated to allow the air stream for ventilation.

Never mount a DSP frame vertically, since this will lead to overheating which can damage the electronic parts! Also avoid to cover the airing perforation in base and top, since this blocks ventilation and may cause overheating. |
